Tenders Are Invited For Winter Wellness Service

Camden’S Winter Wellness Service Is A Package Of Interventions To Prevent Cold-Related Ill-Health, Promote Good Physical Health And Mental Wellbeing, And Address Social Isolation In Older And Vulnerable Camden Residents Aged 65 And Over Living Alone In Council Housing During Winter. The Seasonal Service, Delivered Between October To March Annually, Will Help Keep Residents Warm, Safe, Well, And Connected Through Signposting, Referrals, And Additional Support Via Proactive And Preventative Telephone Calls. The Holistic And Person-Centred Service Aims To Support Residents Most At Risk From Poor Physical Health And Wellbeing During Colder Weather, By Connecting Them With Health And Social Care Services, Housing And Energy Efficiency Services, Financial Support Including Emergency Fuel Grants/Hardship Funds, Food Hubs And Coops, And Local Community Groups And Activities.
