Tenders Are Invited For Implementation Of Forest Road Projects (Client / Representative Kuusamo Yhteimetsä)

The Object Of The Contract Is To Implement 10 Basic Forest Road Improvement And Construction Projects In Kuusamo And Suomussalmi, With A Total Length Of Approximately 47 Kilometers. The Operator To Be Selected Acts As The Main Contractor For The Sites And Is Responsible For All The Obligations Of The Main Contractor According To The Legislation And The Contract And The Organization Of Work Management. Timo Pätsi Acts As The Project Agent And The Customers Representative. The Projects Are Implemented According To A Pre-Prepared And Approved Schedule. A Limited Procedure Is Used For Procurement. Applications For Participation And Certificates Of Eligibility Are Submitted Electronically. Electronic Transmission Of Actual Offers And Project Material Is Not Possible For Information Security Reasons. The Project Material Contains Sensitive Information Related To The Clients Finances And Asset Protection. The Material Will Only Be Released To Qualified Bidders Under A Non-Disclosure Agreement, And Bids Will Be Accepted Non-Electronically. Payment Terms And Financing Terms: No Advance Payments Are Made In The Project. Contract Payments Are Made In Accordance With The Actual, Approved Deliverables In Two Installments In Accordance With The Stage Notification Stages Of The Finnish Forestry Center: 1. Payment Installment (30% Of The Project-Specific Contract Amount): The Installment Is Due For Payment When The Work Of The First Stage Of The Object In Question (Frame Work, Drainage, Drums) Has Been Completed, The Customer Has Accepted Them And The Work Has Been Notified To Metsäkeskus In The First Stage Notification. 2. Payment Installment (70% Of The Project-Specific Contract Amount): The Installment Includes Crushing, Spreading Of Crushed Stone And Final Implementation. The Installment Is Due For Payment When The Work Has Been Found To Be Complete At The Final Reception And Has Been Reported To Metsäkeskus In The Projects Final Stage Notification, And When The Customer Has Ensured That The Quality Of The Work Meets In All Respects Metsäkeskuss Metka Support Quality And Funding Conditions. If Defects In Quality Or Execution Are Found In The Contractors Work Or Materials, As A Result Of Which The Work Does Not Meet Official Requirements, The Payment Of Installments Will Be Postponed Without Interest On Late Payment Until The Contractor Has Corrected The Defects And The Quality Of The Work Is In A Condition Approved By The Metsäkeskus. The Maximum Amount Of The Contract Fee Per Project Is The Cost Estimate Of The Project According To Metsäkeskus Funding Decision, Which May Not Be Exceeded. The Customer Has The Right To Suspend Payment Installments If, Despite The Request, The Contractor Does Not Provide Up-To-Date Certificates On The Fulfillment Of Statutory Obligations (Such As Customer Liability Reports, Tax Liabilities, Tyel) And Financial Eligibility Requirements (The Same Right To Suspension Applies If, According To The Certificates, The Eligibility Conditions Are Not Met). Other Conditions: The Implementer Is Responsible For All Road Usage Fees Both Inside And Outside The Project Area, Which May Be Collected By The Bodies Managing The Roads (Road Councils Or Similar). The Customer Has The Right To Cancel Or Suspend The Contract With Regard To The Contract Or Part Of It Without Compensation Obligation, If The Finnish Forestry Center Makes A Negative Funding Decision For The Project In Question.
