Bids Are Invited For Supply Of Potable Municipal Water Meters

Purposethe City Of Abbotsford (The “City”) Invites Proposals From Qualified Proponents For The Supply And Delivery Of New, Unused Potable Municipal Water Meters That Are Compatible With The City’S Existing Itron Amr/Ami System. The Resulting Contract Is Intended To Support The City’S Water Meter Replacement Program And Ongoing Municipal Metering Requirements.The City Has An Annual Operating Budget For The Repair And Replacement Of Water Meters. As Part Of The Budgeting Process May Also Receive Additional Capital Funding For The Replacement Of Additional Meters. Accordingly, The Quantity, Timing, And Type Of Meters Required May Vary From Year To Year. The Contract Resulting From This Rfp Is Intended To Support Both Ongoing Operational Requirements And Capital-Funded Meter Replacement Projects Through The Supply And Delivery Of City-Purchased Water Meters Only. Installation Of Meters Will Be Performed By City Staff Or, Where Required, By A Contractor Retained By The City Under A Separate Contract. Installation Services Are Not Included In The Scope Of This Rfp.
