Work Detail
Services Incidental To Forestry - Diversity Monitoring. The Goal Of The Procurement Is To Find An Innovation Partner (Hereinafter The Bidder) With Whom The Goal Is To Develop A System (Monitoring Tool) For Data-Based Monitoring Of Forest Diversity And Control Of Forest Use (Appendix 1 Procurement Object). The Purpose Is To Find Different Potential And Risk Targets From A Multi-Source And Abundant Material Composition By Combining Materials Also With The Help Of Artificial Intelligence. In The Final Version, Solutions Produced By Artificial Intelligence Must Be Distinguished From Solutions Produced By Other Methods, For Example By Marking Them As Produced By Artificial Intelligence. The Tasks Of The Development Phase Can Be Classified In Such A Way That 1) Based On The Geometry Of The Received Forest Use Notice, The Risks And Potentials Related To Future Felling Are Examined In Terms Of The Preservation Of Diversity, And 2) Different, Previously Unrecognized Potential Nature Conservation Sites/Diversity Sites Can Be Identified Within The Freely Chosen Area Delimitation. The Goal Is That The Identification Of Targets Can Be Controlled And The Results Can Be Viewed And Reported With A Specially Built Web Browser-Based (Html) Map Tool/User Interface. The Map Tool Is Only For Metsäkeskus Internal Use. The Main Task Is To Develop An Engine In Which The Data Search And Calculations Take Place And Which Can Be Controlled With The Aforementioned Map Tool. Funding From Business Finland Has Been Granted For The Project, Which Is Being Tendered Through An Innovation Partnership. According To The Customers Preliminary Plan, The Monitoring Tool Service Is Developed In Cooperation Between The Customer And The Innovation Partner, So That The Innovation Partner Does A Significant Share (Target 40%) Of The Development Work At Its Own Expense, And Only Receives A Part (Target 60%) Of The Share From The Customer. The Total Costs Of The Development Phase Are Estimated To Be 300,000 Euros (Incl. Vat), Including The Cost Of Metsäkeskus Own Work And Material Procurement. The Procurement Of Material For The Development Phase (Satellite Images, Possible Drone Photography) Is Carried Out By The Customer. More Detailed Description In Appendix 1. Object Of Acquisition.
