Work Detail
Electrical Wiring And Fitting Work – Production Of The System Technology For The Unikai Shore Power System In The Port Of Hamburg. The Free And Hanseatic City Of Hamburg (Fhh) Aims To Sustainably Improve Air Quality In The City And Reduce Co2 Emissions. One Of The Key Measures Is The Development Of Shore Power To Supply Seagoing Ships With Renewable Energy While They Are In The Port Of Hamburg. Based On Eu Regulations, The Hamburg Port Authority (Hpa) Is Planning To Build Additional Shore Power Systems For Various Types Of Ships With A Capacity Of 5,000 Gt Or More. This Also Supports The Defined Goal Of A Climate-Neutral Port By 2040. The Unikai Terminal On Grasbrook Is Particularly Important Because It Is Located In The Immediate Vicinity Of The Residential Development In The Grasbrook Area, Which Is Currently Under Development. Equipping The Berths At The Unikai Terminal With A Shore Power System Is Therefore Essential In Order To Reduce The Emissions Of Sea-Going Vessels During Their Berth. On Behalf Of The Fhh, The Hpa Will Build Several Connection Points At The Unikai Lagerei- Und Speditionsgesellschaft Mbh (Unikai) Terminal To Supply Sea-Going Vessels With Shore Power. The Hpa Is Responsible For The Planning And Construction Of This Shore Power System. The Systems Should Be Ready For Operation At The End Of 2028. The Technical Solutions To Be Planned Should Comply With The International Regulation For Shore Power Systems, Iec/Ieee 80.005-1:2019+Amd1:2022+Amd2:2023. The Shore Power System To Be Planned Is Supplied By A Medium-Voltage Connection From The Public Power Grid Of The Grid Operator Hamburger Energienetze Gmbh (Hne). Brief Description Of The Planned Overall System It Is Planned To Supply The Roro And Conro Ships Calling At The Unikai Terminal With Shore Power So That The Ships Own Diesel Generators Can Be Switched Off While They Are At The Quay, Thus Reducing Local Pollutant Emissions. To This End, Two Berths At The Unikai Terminal Are To Be Equipped With Shore Power Supply Systems. The Converter Station Will Be Built On The Site Of The Unikai Terminal And Has Two Separate Converter Lines, So That Either Two Different Ships With Reduced Power Or A Large Ship At One Of The Berths Can Be Supplied At The Same Time. Two Mobile Cable Management Systems (Cms) Will Be Set Up To Transfer The Supply Cables To The Ships. An Empty Pipe And Shaft System Will Be Built On The Unikai Terminal For The Grid Connection And All Cabling Of The Shore Power System. Tender Components The Overall Project Is Divided Into Several Award Units. The Subject Of This Tender Is The Planning, Production, Assembly And Commissioning Of The System Technology Belonging To The Shore Power System. The System Technology Is Made Up Of Several Individual Components, Which Are Listed Below. 1. Converter Station As A Modular Container System 2. Construction Technology For Foundations And Flood-Proof Structures
