Tenders are invited for Development of a Child-Friendly Legal and Protection Awareness Activity Booklet. Scope of Work: Under the supervision of JWF, the consultant will: Review background materials provided by JWF. Develop child-friendly content and messages in simple Arabic language. Create educational activities and exercises such as puzzles, quizzes, matching games, word searches, comics, storytelling activities, and other interactive learning tools. Develop the booklet structure, learning approach, characters, themes, and activity concepts. Prepare clear recommendations for illustrations, visual elements, and page layouts. Coordinate and participate in meetings with the graphic designer to explain content, activity concepts, layout suggestions, and illustration requirements. Revise content based on feedback from JWF. Key Topics The booklet may include: Online safety and cyberbullying. Reporting cyberbullying and online abuse. Personal safety and protection from violence. Understanding inappropriate behavior and sexual violence. Reporting abuse and violence and seeking help. Identity documents and what to do when documents are lost. Birth registration and the right to an identity. Statelessness and related challenges. Child rights and available protection and support services. Additional topics may be added in consultation with JWF. Deliverables Deliverable 1 Concept Note Proposed booklet structure. Learning approach. Activity and character concepts. Recommendations for visual style and illustrations. Deliverable 2 Draft Booklet Complete content and activities. Layout and illustration guidance for the graphic designer. Deliverable 3 Final Content Package Revised and finalized booklet content. Final activity materials and illustration guidance incorporating JWF feedback. Duration The assignment is expected to be completed within 23 weeks from contract signature. Required Qualifications Degree in Education, Child Development, Social Sciences, Communication, Law, Child Protection, Creative Writing, or a related field. Experience developing child-friendly educational or awareness materials. Strong Arabic writing and content development skills. Experience in child protection, education, legal awareness, or community-based programs. Experience working with NGOs, humanitarian organizations, schools, or child-focused initiatives is an asset.
