The Procurement Program With All Attachments Is An Integral Part Of The Tender Request. The Equipment Will Be Purchased For The Pathology Unit Of Seinäjoki Central Hospital. The Procurement Concerns Liquid Cytological Sample Preparation Equipment For Gynecological Bulk Cell Examinations And Non-Gyn Bulk Cell Examinations. The Purchase Includes Supplies And Reagents, From Sampling To Ready-Made Unstained Glass. The Acquisition Includes Training In Taking A Sample (Gynecological Loose Cell Examination), Using And Maintaining The Equipment, And Interpreting The Sample Preparation. The Pathology Unit Of The Southern Ostrobothnia Welfare Area Receives About 2,100 Gynecological Bulk Cell Examinations And Approximately 1,100 Urine Bulk Cell Examinations Every Year, Which Are Already Prepared Using The Liquid Cytology Method. In Addition To This, Other Cytology Samples Arrive At Our Laboratory In Approx. 1300 Examinations Per Year. The Purpose Is To Enable The Continuation Of The Use Of Liquid Cytology With Gynecological And Urine Bulk Cell Samples And, If Possible, To Expand The Use Of Liquid Cytology To Other Types Of Cytological Samples.
