Tenders are invited for Supply and Delivery of ICT Equipment and Office Devices The Organization for Agricultural Opportunities (OFAO) is a national, non-governmental, and non-profit organization established in 2015 by South Sudanese professionals committed to advancing sustainable development and humanitarian resilience in South Sudan. Officially registered on 17 October 2017 with the South Sudan Relief and Rehabilitation Commission (SSRRC) under Registration No. 1060, OFAO operates at the intersection of humanitarian assistance and sustainable development programming. 2- Background of the project The organization focuses on promoting sustainable and climate-resilient agricultural practices, strengthening food security and livelihoods, and supporting vulnerable communities affected by conflict, displacement, and environmental shocks. Through integrated programming, OFAO contributes to both immediate humanitarians need and long-term development goals by enhancing community capacity, improving agricultural productivity, and fostering resilience-building systems across South Sudan. OFAO in partnership with Caritas Switzerland (CACH) is implementing the Sustainable Markets and Agribusiness Competitiveness plus (SMAC+) Project in Torit, and Magwi Counties in Eastern Equatoria State, Juba, Terekeka and Yei River County in Central Equatoria State. The Sustainable Markets and Agribusiness Competitiveness plus (SMAC+) Project is a strategic 48-month initiative (starting November 15th, 2025) funded by the EUs Green and Resilient Economy (GRE) Programme and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC). It is designed as a targeted response to the systemic challenges hindering agricultural development in South Sudan. Building on the successes and lessons learned from the SMAC pilot phase and the triple-nexus project PEACEFUL, SMAC+ adopts an integrated approach.
