Tenders are invited for Provision of Group Medical Insurance Policy (GMIP) Coverage for the UNRWA Locally Employed Staff and Retirees and Their Dependents in Lebanon Closing Date: Tuesday, 21. Jul 2026 Intervention Sector(s): Health UNRWA seeks the provision of 2nd class good quality insurance coverage for In & Out-patient medical care, effective 01 October 2026, for locally employed staff and their dependents in Lebanon Field, as well as retirees and their dependents, residing in five areas of operations in Lebanon. The total number of insured persons reads 10,692 based on latest statistics as of 31 May 2026. This figure is constituted by: 8,792 regular staff and dependents, plus 1,900 retirees and their dependents. The number of actual insured persons may be subjected to slight change during the contracting period. The contract award as a result of this RFP will be for a period of one year extendable for additional two years (1+1+1), upon UNRWAs written agreement subject to mandate and funding of the Agency, satisfactory performance of the Contractor and on the same, improved or mutually agreed terms and conditions.
