Work Detail
The Existing Asphalt Pavement At The Cranbrook Air Tanker Base , Originally Constructed In 1979 And Fully Rehabilitated And Expanded In March 2005, Has Experienced Significant Thermal And Age-Related Cracking. As The Pavement Is Approaching The End Of Its Expected Service Life, Preventative Maintenance Is Required To Preserve Its Condition And Prevent Further Deterioration. Crack Sealing And Seal Coating Of The Existing Asphalt Apron Are Necessary To Protect The Pavement From Water Infiltration, Slow The Aging Process, And Extend Its Useful Service Life While Maintaining A Safe And Serviceable Surface.
