The City Of Atlanta, On Behalf Of The Department Of City Planning, Will Shortly Undergo A Multi-Step Competitivesealed Bid Process Comprised Of A Prequalification Phase Followed By An Invitation For Bids (Ifb) Forenvironmental Remediation Activities At The Chattahoochee Brick Company (Cbc) Site. The Project Consists Of Theexcavation, Transportation, And Disposal Of Contaminated Soils, Site Restoration, Erosion And Sediment Control,Stormwater Management, Environmental Monitoring, Traffic Control, Utility Coordination, Community Protectionmeasures, And All Associated Activities Necessary To Complete The Remediation In Accordance With City Of Atlantaspecifications, Georgia Environmental Protection Division (Ga Epd) Requirements, Epa Brownfields Cleanupgrant Requirements, And The Approved Remedial Design Documents. During The Prequalification Phase, Interestedvendors Should Be Prepared To Demonstrate Their Technical Expertise, Organizational Capacity, Relevant Experience Performing Environmental Remediation Projects Of Similar Size And Complexity, Project Approach, And Ability To Comply With All Applicable Federal, State, And Local Regulatory Requirements. The Citys Expectation Is To Identify Qualified Vendors Capable Of Safely And Efficiently Delivering The Project On Schedule While Providing Effective Project Management, Maintaining Compliance With All Environmental And Grant Requirements, And Minimizing Impacts To The Surrounding Community.
