The Norwegian Police Directorate Is Announcing A Competition For A Research Assignment In Connection With The Introduction Of A New Model For Service Development (Mtu) In The Police. The Service Development Model Entails New Ways Of Working For The Entire Organisation. The Implementation Will Involve Changes In Working Methods, Interaction, Management And Decision-Making Processes. In Order To Ensure Learning, Quality And Adjustment Along The Way, Before New Practices Take Hold In The Organisation, The Norwegian Police Directorate Wants A Research Environment To Carry Out Action Research, Or Another Type Of Follow-Up Research Where Researchers Collaborate Closely With The Business, In Parallel With The Implementation. The Assignment Will Support A Structured And Systematic Learning Process. The Overall Purpose Of The Assignment Is To Support The Implementation Of The Model Through Continuous Learning And To Create An Understanding Of Any Need For Change. The Research Will Contribute To Concretizing The Achievement Of Mtus Goals And Provide An Independent Assessment Of Whether This Strengthens The Polices Ability To Solve The Social Mission.
