Project: Tender21801 - Tender21801-Continuity & Emergency Management System (Cems) . This Request For Information (“Rfi”) Is Issued By His Majesty The King In Right Of Ontario As Represented By The Ministry Of Public And Business Service Delivery And Procurement (“The Ministry”) For The Purpose Of Gathering Information About The Marketplace To Inform Potential Future Approaches To Service Delivery. In Collaboration With The Ministry Of Emergency Preparedness And Response (Mepr), The Ministry Is Seeking Information Regarding Vendor Capabilities, Solution Approaches, And Delivery Models That May Support Enterprise Continuity Planning And Emergency Management Coordination. The Ministry Is Interested In Understanding How Solutions Available In The Marketplace May Support A More Integrated And Coordinated Approach To: • Continuity And Risk-Informed Planning • Emergency Management And Operational Coordination • Data Integration And Information Sharing • Situational Awareness And Reporting • Collaboration Across Ministries And External Partners • Secure Management Of Sensitive Information The Ministry Is Also Interested In Understanding How Solutions May Scale To Support A Large And Diverse User Community, Including The Ability To Accommodate Increased Usage During Emergency Events. Information Obtained Through This Rfi Will Be Used For Planning Purposes Only And To Inform Any Potential Future Procurement Activities. Scope Of Work The Ministry Is Seeking Information On Solution Approaches And Related Services That May Support An Integrated Capability For Enterprise Continuity Planning And Emergency Management Coordination. This Need Arises From The Current Use Of Multiple Tools And Processes, Which Has Resulted In Limited Standardization, Reduced Visibility Of Interdependencies, And Challenges In Supporting Coordinated Planning And Real-Time Response Activities. The Ministry Is Interested In Understanding How Solutions May Be Designed, Implemented, And Supported To Enable Improved Planning, Operational Coordination, Data Integration, And Decision-Making Across Ministries And Partner Organizations. Services Would Primarily Support Users Across The Ontario Public Service, Including Ministries And Central Operations, With Potential Use By External Partners (E.G., Federal Government, Municipalities, First Nations, And Other Stakeholders) As Appropriate. The Solution May Be Required To Operate Across Multiple Environments, Including Web-Based And Mobile-Enabled Access. The Ministry Is Seeking Input On Delivery Models, Implementation Considerations, And Ongoing Support Approaches That May Enable A Scalable, Secure, And Adaptable Solution Environment.
