Expression of Interest for Supply of Thermal Cameras. Description: The Security Directorate (DS) ensures the security of European Commission staff, premises and information. It carries out a variety of protective tasks, which include safeguarding the Institutions staff, premises and information against hostile intelligence services. Unit DS.2 is responsible for gathering, assessing, and disseminating information concerning threats related to the security of the Commission. It also carries out security investigations in the fields of espionage, terrorism and in cases of leaks of classified or sensitive information. In the context of the latter, it requires the adequate equipment to fulfil the duty. The aim of the contract resulting from this call for tender is to acquire thermal cameras for electronic countermeasures inspections.
