Jul 2026 Intervention Sector(s): Training & Capacity Building Remuneration range: 4000 to 5000 (USD) Duration of Contract: 2 Months Context & Background Berytech is a leading organization in the Entrepreneurial Eco-system in Lebanon, that aims to provide a conducive environment for the creation and development of startups, through incubation, business support, counseling, funding, networking, and company hosting, hence taking part in the economic revival of the country, participating in wealth and job creation, and retaining graduates and high-level skills in Lebanon. Through the Agrytech & Clyntech Accelerator Program, startups receive support to develop their Minimum Viable Product, test it with early adopters, and build their capacity to establish their business from marketing, financial, management, and operational levels. The Program aims to contribute to job creation and sustainable economic development while advancing the Lebanese entrepreneurial ecosystem. The Agrytech & Clyntech Accelerator Programs mission is to nurture and grow proof of concepts and prototypes that share three common characteristics: An innovation with a scientific or technological focus in the Agrifood and Clyntech sectors. The possibility to scale beyond the local market. The potential to create sustainable job opportunities locally. Scope of work The Agrytech & Clyntech Accelerator Program seeks a Pitching trainer to support all 14 startups in the cohort in developing clear, compelling, and audience-focused communication of their ventures through effective storytelling, pitch deck development, and pitch delivery. The assignment aims to support startups in strengthening their ability to communicate their business opportunity, value proposition, progress, and future vision to different stakeholders including customers, partners, juries, and potential investors. TOR Startup Pitching Trainer Agrytech & Clyntech Accelerator Program By the end of the assignment, each startup is expected to have a 1-minute elevator pitch, a 3-minute pitch script and deck, and a fully rehearsed 3-minute pitch ready for delivery, adaptable to different pitching opportunities throughout the Acceleration phase. The assignment will be delivered through: Up to a full-day workshop (total of 6 hours in-person) that can be split into 2 power sessions. Up to 2 Pitch Labs delivered separately to two startup groups (Track A and Track B) 3 hours each, (maximum 7 startups per group-a total of up to 4 labs). Up to 5 one-on-one clinics (45 minutes each) per startup (total of up to 70 clinics). Workshop: The workshop should cover the following topics: Body Language & Storytelling To support startups in strengthening their communication and presentation skills by addressing: Body language, posture, gestures, eye contact, and tone of voice. Audience engagement and presentation presence. Storytelling fundamentals and narrative development. Structuring a compelling startup story. Communicating value and impact effectively. Managing confidence, anxiety, and presentation challenges. Communicating with clarity, authenticity, and credibility. How to Build a Winning Pitch Deck Supporting startups in developing effective pitching materials by addressing: Pitch deck structure and flow. Developing a compelling startup narrative. Communicating the problem, solution, market opportunity, business model, traction, and team. Presenting key information in a concise and impactful manner. Aligning the pitch with the intended audience. Preparing for investor, partner, and jury presentations. Introduction to elevator pitches, pitch delivery, and Q&A preparation. Pitch Lab (Track A & Track B): The Pitch Lab is a highly interactive working session designed to help startups apply the storytelling and pitch deck concepts introduced during the two workshops in a focused, small-group setting. Each lab will host a maximum of 7 startups. Startups will work on practical application, peer feedback, and hands-on refinement of their pitching assets, with direct support from the Trainer throughout. Each lab session will provide startups with hands-on support to: Refine their pitch narrative and structure. Strengthen their pitch deck content and flow. Practice delivery in front of peers and receive structured feedback. Identify gaps in storytelling, clarity, or audience engagement. Prepare for individual coaching during the one-on-one clinics. One-on-One Clinics: The Consultant will conduct up to 5 one-on-one clinics (45 minutes each) per startup. The clinics will provide startup-specific coaching and feedback to support the progressive development and refinement of pitching materials and presentation skills. Indicative milestones throughout the component may include: 60-Second Elevator Pitch Development. Pitch Script Development. Pitch Deck Development. Pitch Refinement & Feedback. 3-Minute Pitch Delivery & Q&A Readiness. The final methodology, milestones, and coaching approach will be proposed by the Consultant and validated with the program team prior to implementation. Deliverables Delivery of a full-day Workshop (total of 6 hours). Delivery of up to 5 one-on-one clinics (45 minutes each) per startup (total of up to 70 clinics). Facilitation plans and working materials for both Pitch Lab sessions (Track A and Track B). Delivery of 2 Pitch Lab sessions per track (3 hours each-total of 4 labs) Up to 5 one-on-one clinics (45 minutes each) per startup (total of up to 70 clinics). A 60-second elevator pitch for each startup. A pitch script for each startup. A pitch deck for each startup. A 3-minute pitch, fully rehearsed and ready for delivery, for each startup. A final summary report highlighting participation, common observations, challenges identified, and recommendations for future pitching and investor readiness support. Qualifications Minimum 7 years of experience in pitching, storytelling, public speaking, presentation coaching, investor communication, or related fields. Demonstrated experience supporting startups, SMEs, incubators, accelerators, or innovation programs. Proven experience coaching founders and entrepreneurial teams in pitch preparation and presentation delivery. Strong expertise in storytelling, presentation design, pitch deck development, and public speaking. Strong facilitation and coaching experience with entrepreneurial audiences. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Fluency in English. Evaluation criteria As per the attached file.
