Jul 2026 Intervention Sector(s): Children & Youth, Disability, Gender issues, Mental Health Remuneration range: 4000 to 5000 (USD) Duration of Contract: July 2026 to February 2028 Background Skoun Lebanese Addictions Center is implementing a project aimed at improving the wellbeing, protection, and resilience of crisis-affected women and gender diverse people affected by substance use (SU) and gender-based violence (GBV). The project adopts a comprehensive approach combining direct services, community outreach, capacity building, advocacy, and institutional strengthening. Building on the achievements of Skouns previous WPHF project, "Integrating Substance Use Disorders Prevention and Treatment into the Local Response to SGBV" (December 2023 November 2025), this initiative translates evidence and recommendations into action in response to Lebanons ongoing economic, social, and humanitarian crises. The project seeks to strengthen protection, enhance wellbeing, and empower crisis-affected women experiencing the intersection of substance use and GBV in Beirut and Mount Lebanon through a multi-level approach combining direct service delivery, outreach, capacity building, and institutional coordination. As part of the projects visibility and advocacy component, Skoun seeks to document project implementation, amplify womens voices and lived experiences, and raise awareness on the intersection of substance use and gender-based violence through the development of high-quality visual materials and ethical storytelling products. Purpose of the Consultancy The purpose of this consultancy is to provide professional videography services for the documentation of project activities and the production of visual materials that promote awareness, advocacy, and visibility of women-centered substance use and GBV support interventions. The consultant will ensure that all visual products are developed using ethical storytelling approaches, conflict-sensitive messaging, and informed consent procedures, while protecting the dignity, safety, and confidentiality of project participants. Scope of Work Under the supervision of the Project Coordinator and inclose coordination with Skouns Communication Specialist, the VideographerConsultant will undertake the following tasks: Documentation of Project Activities Documentkey project activities, including: Projectkick-off event; Awarenessand advocacy activities; Capacity-buildingworkshops and trainings; Selectedoutreach activities; Projectclosing event; Otherproject milestones as identified by Skoun. Production of Visual Materials Produce a total of six (6) visual materials throughout the project implementation period, including short videos, testimonials, advocacy videos, event highlights, and other communication products as required. Develop storyboards and filming plans in collaboration with the Communication Specialist and Project Coordinator. Conduct video recording, interviews, and field documentation activities. Edit and finalize visual materials suitable for social media platforms, presentations, advocacy events, and donor communication purposes. Ethical Storytelling and Safeguarding Ensure informed consent is obtained prior to any filming or photography activities. Apply conflict-sensitive, gender-sensitive, and survivor-centered approaches in all visual documentation. Ensure confidentiality and protect the identity of participants whenever requested or required. Avoid any content that may expose participants to stigma, discrimination, or Protection risks. Coordination and Reporting Coordinate filming schedules and logistics with the Skoun staff and partner organizations. Submit draft products for review and incorporate feedback from Skoun. Archive and transfer all raw footage and final products to Skoun. Deliverables The consultant will deliver: Documentation of major project activities and milestones throughout the project period. Six (6) professionally produced visual materials documenting project impact and supporting advocacy efforts on women, substance use, and gender-based violence. Edited video products in formats suitable for social media, presentations, and dissemination events. All raw footage, photographs, project files, and final edited materials transferred to Skoun. Brief documentation notes describing the context and purpose of each visual product. Expected Results The consultancy is expected to contribute to: Increased visibility of project interventions and achievements; Enhanced advocacy on the intersection of substance use and gender-based violence; Increased public awareness and engagement through digital communication products; Ethical amplification of womens experiences and voices; Improved documentation of project impact and lessons learned. Duration of the Consultancy The consultancy will be implemented from May 2026 to February 2028, in accordance with project activities and an agreed production schedule. Reporting and Supervision The Videographer Consultant will report directly to the Project Coordinator and work in close coordination with Skouns Communication Specialist. The consultant will participate in planning meetings and will be responsible for incorporating technical and editorial feedback provided by Skoun. Required Qualifications and Experience The consultant should possess: A university degree in Film Production, Media Studies, Communication, Multimedia, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience; At least three years of professional experience in videography, filming, and video editing; Demonstrated experience producing advocacy, humanitarian, public health, or social impact communication materials; Strong skills in filming, editing, storytelling, and post-production; Experience working with vulnerable populations and applying ethical storytelling principles; Proficiency in professional video editing software; Excellent communication and coordination skills; Fluency in Arabic and working knowledge of English. Ethical Considerations The consultant shall adhere to Skouns policies and procedures, including: Informed consent and confidentiality requirements; Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA); Do No Harm principles; Gender-sensitive and survivor-centered approaches; Ethical representation and protection of vulnerable populations; Data protection and secure management of all visual materials and participant information.
