Work Detail
Technical Assistance Services – Technical Assistance Service For The Drafting Of The Study Of Alternatives For The Cerro Blanco Dam. Dhcma (Malaga). The Sources Of Resources Available To The City Of Malaga For Its Supply Are Currently In Deficit. To The Problem Of The Supply Deficit, We Must Add The Poor Quality Of The Supply Water Presented By The Current Resources Due To Its High Salinity, And Which Makes Its Treatment At The El Atabal Desalination Plant Necessary. The Dhcma Hydrological Plan Includes The Execution Of The Cerro Blanco Dam To Increase The Available Resources In The Year 2039. In Section 4.1.4.5 Of Annex Vi Of The Review Of The Third Cycle (2021-2027) Of The Dhcma Hydrological Plan It Is Said That, In Subsystem I.3 There Is A Notable Overexploitation In The Groundwater Masses 060.038 Sierra De Mijas (Shared With Subsystem I.4), 060.039 Río Fuengirola And 060.040 Marbella-Estepona. The Water Resource Collected In The Cerro Blanco Reservoir Would Contribute To Reducing Said Overexploitation. In Addition, It Substantially Improves The Guarantees Of Irrigation In The Guadalhorce Valley, By Allowing Savings In The Consumption Of Water From The Reservoirs That Provide It With Water Resources. The Action Will Contribute Significantly To The Reduction Of Damage In The Lower Area Of The Guadalhorce River, In The Malaga Basin, Generated By The Flooding Of The Rio Grande. The Objective Pursued Is To Improve The Supply System To Malaga, By Taking Advantage Of The Water From The Río Grande, The Only Channel In The Guadalhorce River Basin That Is Currently Not Regulated, As A New Source Of Water Resources To Supply The City Of Malaga, Taking Advantage Of The High Quality Of Its Water For Human Consumption. Prior To Drafting A New Project For The Dam, A Study Of Alternatives Must Be Written In Which Different Closed Ones Must Be Analyzed, And A Comparative Study Of All Possible Alternatives Must Be Carried Out, Analyzing Their Technical, Environmental And Economic Viability, And Thus Propose The Most Appropriate Solution, For The Greatest Possible Storage Of Regulated Resources, And Whose Design And Subsequent Project Can Be Defined With The Degree Of Detail Necessary To Proceed With Its Construction, Without Having To Rethink Either Conditions Or Approaches, But Only Defining And Evaluating The Construction Of The Dam. Works Necessary To Materialize The Idea-Solution.
