Specialist Training Services – Framework Agreement: Organizing Training Courses For Animal Rescue. This Assignment Concerns A Service Assignment For Organizing, Coordinating And Carrying Out Modular Training Courses On The Rescue, Release And Evacuation Of Large Animals (Including, But Not Limited To, Horses, Cattle And Other Large Farm Animals), For The Paulo Fire Department And The Participating Fire Brigade Zones. The Training Courses Are Organized On The Territory Of Belgium Or Abroad, Depending On The Modules Chosen, The Available Expertise And The Operational Needs. The Assignment Qualifies As A Social And Other Specific Service As Referred To In Annex Iii Of The Law Of 17 June 2016. The Assignment Aims To Structurally Develop A Sustainable Training Framework For Specialized Intervention Techniques In Incidents Involving Large Animals, With The Aim Of: • Safely Approaching, Stabilizing And Evacuating Large Animals In Emergency Situations, • Increasing The Operational Safety Of Emergency Responders, • Minimizing Risks For The Animal, • Standardizing Procedures, • Developing Sustainable Expertise Within Paulo Fire Department. The Contractor Is Responsible For The Integral Training Organization Per Module And/Or Training Course. Paulo Fire Department Trains Students In The Rescue Of Large Animals And Has A Pool Of Instructors In Training For This Purpose. To Organize These Training Courses, Paulo Works Together With A Contractor Who Can Offer The Complete Course (Per Group Of 12 Participants), Including Optional Components Such As Hotel, Restoration, Theory Room, Logistics, Materials And Certification. Duration Of The Agreement: The Execution Period Of This Contract Is 2 Years, Starting From The Date Of Notification Of The Award. After This Fixed Period, The Assignment Can Be Tacitly Extended For 2 Periods Of 12 Months Each, Under The Same Contractual Conditions (Maximum 4 Years). These Extensions Serve Solely To Allow Paulo To Evaluate The Quality, Operation And Results Of The Training Courses And, If Necessary, To Start A New Procedure If The Assignment No Longer Meets Expectations After Two Years. If The Training Is Positively Evaluated, She Can Benefit From This Service For Up To 4 Years, Also Taking Into Account The Investments And Costs Associated With Such Specialist Training.
