Work Detail
The Öfs Is Part Of The Biodiversity Monitoring Of The State Of North Rhine-Westphalia, Which Has Been Carried Out On Annually Changing Sample Areas Since 1997. There Are A Total Of 220 Öfs Areas In North Rhine-Westphalia, Each 100 Hectares In Size, Of Which 191 Are Randomly Distributed Across The Country. The Remaining 29 Are Reference Areas In Nature Conservation Priority Areas. The Mapping Results Of The 191 Sample Areas Are Extrapolated For The Entire State Of North Rhine-Westphalia And Used As Statistically Representative State Values For Eu, Federal And State Reporting. The 29 Reference Areas Are Compared As Comparison Areas With The Sample Areas In Nationwide Surveys And Evaluations. In 2027, Ornithological Mapping On 37 Study Areas Of The Ecological Area Sample (Öfs) Will Be Awarded To External Contractors.
