Railway Traffic Control Software Package – Call For Applications For A Contract For The Supply And Implementation Of A Tramway Operation And Passenger Information Support System (Saeiv) In Luxembourg. The Purpose Of This Contract Is To Provide And Implement An Operational Support And Passenger Information System (Saeiv) Which Ensures The Monitoring, Supervision And Regulation Of Tram Traffic, And Guarantees The Interface Between The Regulator At The Centralized Control Post (Pcc) And The Tram Drivers. The New Saeiv Will Have To Completely Replace The System Currently In Service, Deployed In 2017, With A Target Entry Into Service Set For 2027. This Technological Development Will Have To Be Carried Out While Ensuring Continuity Of Service And Guaranteeing Compatibility With All Existing Interfaces, And In Particular The Operators Business Tools (Supervision, Planning And Real-Time Monitoring Of Operations), Rolling Stock And On-Board Equipment: Seamless Collection And Transmission Of Operating Data And On-Board Passenger Information Systems And Equipment (Displays, Audible Announcements) And On The Ground (Terminals, Dynamic Display Panels). The Project Must Also Integrate Recent Technological Developments, Improve The Overall Performance Of The System, Strengthen Cyber Security And Offer Better Ergonomics To End Users.
