The Purchase Of Rectifiers Is Imposed By The Need To Ensure The Maintenance Of Railway Signaling Installations, Which Are A Component Part Of The Railway Infrastructure And Have A Decisive Role In Ensuring The Safety Of Railway Traffic. The 12V / 20A Rectifier Is Used For Charging Accumulator Batteries With A Nominal Voltage Of 12V And For Supplying Direct Voltage With A Value Of 12V To The Ground Command, Control And Signaling (Ccs-T) Installations From Cfr. The Products From The Present Award Procedure Are Necessary For The Revision, Maintenance And Repair Of Railway Signaling Installations, Activities That Are Carried Out Based On The Approved Revision Programs. The Realization Of These Programs According To The Provisions Of The Specialized Instructions Is Conditioned By The Provision Of The Material Base With Spare Parts. More Than 6,500 Rectifiers With 12V Voltages Are In Operation In The Existing Facilities On The Cfr Network, Of Which More Than 1,000 Are Used In The Centralization And Bat/Sat Facilities, Manufactured In The Period 1960-1989, Which Do Not Ensure The Stabilization Of The Output Voltage. It Is Necessary To Replace The Rectifiers That Do Not Provide A Stabilization Of The Output Voltage For Charging The Storage Batteries As A Priority. A Large Number Of Electrodynamic Centralization Installations (Ced) And Automatic Signaling Installations At Railway Level Crossings (Bat/ Sat) Are Powered By Power Supply Equipment That Presents A Series Of Disadvantages And Deficiencies: - It Does Not Ensure The Necessary Voltage Stabilization For The Accumulator Batteries Installed In The Ced Installations And Bat/ Sat Installations, Which May Cause A Reduction In Their Operating Life; - Does Not Ensure The Voltage And Current Parameters Necessary For The Correct Operation Of The New Barrier Electromechanisms; - They Have A Low Yield Compared To Rectifiers Made With Modern Electronic Components; - They Are Worn Out Physically And Morally, Having Exceeded The Normal Operating Life Of 20 Years, Being In Operation For 25 ÷ 45 Years. Maintaining The Normal Operating Parameters Of The Ced And Bat/Sat Facilities Through Maintenance And Repairs Requires The Replacement Of Old Rectifiers With New Rectifiers With Technical Performances Corresponding To Current Technologies, Which Will Lead To The Reduction Of Disturbances At These Facilities, The Maintenance Effort And Implicitly A Reduction In Operating Costs.
