The Federal Government of Nigeria/Kano State Government have received financing from the Islamic Development Bank toward the cost of the Kano Special Agro-Industrial Processing Zone (SAPZ), and intends to apply part of the proceeds for: Civil Works for Ground Works, Site Works and Construction of Non-Processing Facilities in AIH Bagauda Kano. 2. The Kano State Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources through the Kano-SAPZ now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Civil Works for Ground Works, Site Works and NonProcessing Facilities in AIH Bagauda Kano The Scope of Works includes but not limited to the following: i. Site Clearance ii. Construction of Compound Wall and Fencing iii. Construction of Gate House iv. Construction of Security Post v. Construction of Administration Office vi. Construction of QA & QC Laboratory vii. Construction of Community Vocational Centre viii. Construction of Health Centre 4. The expected completion period of the construction is 12 months. 5. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures as specified in IsDBs Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and related services under Islamic Development Bank Project Financing (April 2019, revised in February 2023) (Procurement Guidelines), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition, please refer to 1.9.1-1.9.4 paragraphs of the Procurement Policy of the Procurement Guidelines setting forth IsDBs policy on conflict of interest. 6.
