Tenders Are Invited For Construction Of The Border Crossing Point (Bcp) Facility

Tenders are invited for CW-02: Construction of the Border Crossing Point (BCP) facility at Karkyra KGZ: AlmatyBishkek Economic Corridor Regional Improvement of Border Services Project 1. The Kyrgyz Republic has received financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of AlmatyBishkek Economic Corridor Regional Improvement of Border Services Project. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the Contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB. 2. The State Border Service of the Kyrgyz Republic (the Employer) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the construction and completion of Construction of the Border Crossing Point (BCP) facility at Karkyra (the Works). 3. Open competitive bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADBs Single-Stage: TwoEnvelope (1S2E) bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document. 4. Only eligible Bidders with the following key qualifications defined in the Bidding Document may participate in this bidding: (i) Participation as a contractor, Joint Venture partner, or Subcontractor, in at least 2 (two) contracts that has been satisfactorily and substantially completed within the last 10 (ten) years (from 2016 to 2025) and that are similar to the proposed works, where the value of the Bidders participation under each contract exceeds USD 8,800,000.00 (eight million eight hundred thousand). The similarity of the Bidders participation shall be based on the physical size, nature of works, complexity, methods, technology or other characteristics as described in Section 6 (Employers Requirements) of the Bidding Documents. (ii) Minimum average annual construction turnover of USD 8,140,000.00 (eight million one hundred forty thousand), calculated as total certified payments received for contracts in progress or completed, within the last 3 (three) years (2023, 2024, 2025). (iii) The Bidder must demonstrate that its financial resources meet or exceed the total requirement for the Subject Contract of USD 1,160,000.00 (one million one hundred sixty thousand).
