Request For Proposalspurposethe City Of Surrey (The “City”) Invites Proposals From Experienced And Qualified Proponents For The Provision Of All Labour, Material, Equipment, Transportation, And Other Related Services To Design, Layout, Manufacture And Supply New Playground Equipment For Hawthorne Rotary Park Located At 10513 144 Street, Surrey, B.C., And Cloverdale Athletic Park Located At 6330 168 Street, Surrey, B.C.Backgroundthe City Manages A Diverse Network Of Neighbourhood And Community Parks Containing Playgrounds Of Varying Ages, Sizes, And Conditions. Playgrounds Serve A Critical Role In Supporting Physical, Social, And Cognitive Development For Children Aged 2 To 12 Years.Several Existing Play Equipment In Both Hawthrone Rotary Park And Cloverdale Athletic Park Has Reached The End Of Their Service Life And Require Replacement To Better Serve The Following Age Groups:Early Childhood (2–5 Years)School-Aged (5–12 Years)Addendaif The City Determines That An Amendment Is Required To This Rfp, The City Representative Will Issue A Written Addendum By Posting It On The Bc Bid Website At Www.Bcbid.Gov.Bc.Ca And The City Website At Www.Surrey.Ca (Collectively, The “Websites”), And Upon Posting, Any Addenda Will Form Part Of This Rfp.
