The Project Involves The Transformation Of The Former Aldi Plot In Jemappes Into An Urban Park Of ±4,600M², Including A Playground, A Multi-Sports Field And A Large Meadow. After The Demolition Of The Building And The Removal Of The Existing Coverings, The Site Will Be Remodeled Into Terraces To Ensure Good Accessibility And An Opening Towards The Neighborhood. Part Of The Old Structure Will Be Retained For Acoustic Insulation And Sports Uses. Durable Materials Will Be Used For Pathways And Equipment. The Project Also Includes The Redevelopment Of Rue De Lheaume And Rue David Into One-Way Cycle Streets, With The Creation Of New Parking Spaces, Green Spaces And The Widening Of Sidewalks.
