For The Foundation For Agrarian Innovation Fia, Innovation Is Defined As A New Or Significantly Improved Product Or Process That Differs From The Previous Solutions Of A Productive Unit, And That Has Been Made Available To End Users Or Effectively Implemented. Under This Premise, The Foundation Designs Instruments And Activities Aimed At Energizing The Interaction Between The Various Actors Of The Forestry, Agricultural And Agri-Food Ecosystem, Seeking To Promote Processes That Support The Development Of Each Region Of The Country. Despite These Efforts, The Sector Faces Critical Structural Challenges: In Chile, The Agricultural And Forestry Innovation Rate Ranges Between 9.3% And 14.7%, Ranking 12Th Out Of 14 Productive Sectors. This Low Penetration Responds To Obstacles Such As High Investment Costs, Uncertainty In The Demand For Disruptive Solutions, Insufficient State Support And The Difficulty In Finding Cooperation Partners. Regarding This Last Point, A Worrying Decline Is Observed, Where The Percentage Of Collaboration With National Or Foreign Institutions To Innovate Decreased From 21.2% 2019-2020 To 11.3% 2021-2022. In This Scenario, Fia Has Consolidated A Trajectory Of Articulation Through Mechanisms Such As Technical Roundtables, Innovation Agendas And Conecta Workshops. This Strategy Evolved Between 2022 And 2023 With The Innovation Colloquiums, Focused On Regional Dialogue, And During 2024 With Conferences Designed To Generate More Permanent Technical Alliances. After 2025 Focused On Strengthening Specific Networks For Innovative Women, Today We Seek To Give A New Strategic Approach To This Process. This Tender Is Framed In The Holding Of Strengthening And Prospecting Meetings That Not Only Link The Actors Of The Ecosystem, But Also Allow The Co-Construction Of Regional Strategic Axes, Transforming Territorial Diagnoses Into A Shared Roadmap For The Future Of Regional Agriculture.
