Tenders are invited for Purchase of Lower and Upper Gi Endoscopy System for Paediatric Ot 01 Value of Bid Security (Rs.) 300,000.00 To obtain bid forms original receipt obtained for the payment of non-refundable fee of Rs. 3,500.00 for each item should be paid to the Shroff of the National Hospital - Kandy and the original receipt should be submitted along with a letter of request. Specimen bid forms can be obtained from the Procurement Section of the National Hospital - Kandy from 30.06.2026 up to 23.07.2026 on normal working days between 9.00 a.m. and 3.00 p.m. When a representative calls over, applicants letter of authority should be produced along with the National Identity card to establish the Identity. Specimen bid forms can be inspected free of charge before collection at the Procurement Section of the National Hospital - Kandy. With each bidding document a bid security to the value mentioned in the table above in favour of the Director of the National Hospital - Kandy valid up to 24.11.2026 should be submitted annexed to the original bidding document. Bids should be submitted in conformity with conditions and specifications mentioned in the specimen bid forms. Pre-bid Meeting in this Connection will be held at 10.30 a.m. on 13.07.2026 at the office of the Deputy Director General of the National Hospital - Kandy. Participation in the above pre-bid meeting is compulsory. Bids will be opened soon after closure of acceptance of Bids at 10.30 a.m. on 24.07.2026 at the office of the Chief Accountant of the National Hospital - Kandy. Applicant or one of his authorized representatives can be present on the occasion of opening of bids. When a representative calls over, applicants letter of authority and identity card should be produced to establish the identity. If the value exceeds Rs. Five Million, (Rs. 5,000,000.00) original of the PCA 03 Certificate obtained as per the Public Contract Act No. 03 of 1987 after registering at the office of the Registrar of Contracts should be submitted along with Bidding documents. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding Procedure. Bidders should admit that the decision of the Departmental Procurement Board of the National Hospital - Kandy shall be the Final.
