Tenders are invited for Supply of University Bookshop Service UWU/GA/NCB/2026/11 Bid Security: Rs. 10,000.00 Bid Document Fee: Rs. 2,000.00 (NonRefundable) Bid Issuing Period: 2026.06.25 2026.07.15 Bid Opening: 2026.07.16 at 11.30 a.m. Instructions to Bidders: A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by any interested bidder upon submission of a written application to the Senior Assistant Registrar (General Administration Division) and upon production of a receipt for the payment of the non-refundable fee to the Shroff, Uva Wellassa University, between 9.00 a.m. and 3.00 p.m. on any working day (except public holidays). Alternatively, payments may be made by direct cash deposit to the Bank of Ceylon, Badulla Branch, Account No. 3114820, within the above period. Bidders may also download the Bidding Documents from the University website http://www.uwu.ac.lk/procurement (uwu.ac.lk in Bing). Those who obtain the documents via the website must submit the completed Bidding Documents along with either a Bank Draft drawn in favour of the Uva Wellassa University for the non-refundable fee, or a cash deposit slip/receipt as proof of payment made at any branch of the Bank of Ceylon to Account No. 3114820, Uva Wellassa University. Bidders may also examine the Bidding Documents free of charge at the General Administration Division during working hours. Facilities Provided by the University to the Selected Supplier and Charges Payable by the Selected Supplier: Selected cooking utensils and equipment, Plates, cups, and glasses used by students for dining purposes (Only for Canteens) Space for canteens and Bookshop operations Water supply free of charge Monthly electricity charge: Rs. 4,000.00 Monthly rental fee for the service premises: Rs. 2,000.00 Submission of Bids: Bids must be delivered or sent by Registered Post at or before 10.00 a.m on the date specified in the notice. Bids will be opened immediately thereafter. The bidder or an authorized representative (with a letter of authorization) may be present at the time of opening. Bids should be enclosed in a sealed envelope, with the relevant Bid Number clearly marked on the top left-hand corner, and addressed to Chairman, Procurement Committee, Uva Wellassa University, Passara Road, Badulla. Alternatively, bids may be deposited in the Tender Box kept at the Registrars Office, Uva Wellassa University.
