Tenders are invited for Supply & Delivery of High Tensile Steel Wires ELIGIBLE BIDDERS 1.1 The invitation for bids is open to all principals, suppliers, manufacturers and their local accredited agents in Sri Lanka in the relevant field. 1.2 Bidders should have minimum of 03 yrs. operations in Sri Lanka in the relevant field. 1.3 Should have past experience in supply of similar goods over the period of last 03 years. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Supplies Officer, National Engineering Research & Development Centre, 2P/17B, Industrial Estate, Ekala, Ja-Ela, from 9.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. during weekdays. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English language may be purchased by interested bidders on submission of a written application to the address below from 26.06.2026 until 10.07.2026 from 9.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. during weekdays upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs. 2,500/-. The Bid validity period is 49 Days from the date of closing date. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of Rs 50,000.00. The Validity Period of the Bid Security shall be 77 Days [i.e. upto 28.09.2026] from the closing date. Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 2.00 p.m. on 13.07.2026. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the Bidders representatives who choose to attend in person or on-line at the address below at 2.00 p.m. on 13.07.2026.
