The Municipality Of Pleven Is A Direct Beneficiary Under Procedure No. Bg16ffpr002-2.004 Measures To Build, Expand And/Or Upgrade Municipal/Regional Systems For Separate Collection And Recycling Of Biodegradable Waste-Second Under Priority 2 Waste Of The Environment Program 2021-2027, As The Owner Of The Composting Installation, As Well As The Property Where It Is Located. At The Moment, A Plant For Composting Biodegradable Waste Has Been Built On The Territory Of The Municipality Of Pleven, Which Serves The Territories Of The Municipalities Of Pleven, Dolna Mitropolia, Dolni Dabnik, Pordim, Iskar And Gulyantsi. The Present Investment Proposal Envisages The Upgrade Through Modernization / Improvement Of The Existing Plant For Receiving And Recycling 12,532.21 T/Y. Separately Collected Food (At 100% Collected), Namely 7131.86 Tons/Year. And Garden (At 100% Collected), Namely 5400.45 Tons/Year. Biodegradable Household Waste Generated From The Territory Of The Municipality Of Pleven And Technological Improvement Of The Open Composting Of The Wood Waste Of The Municipality Of Pleven And Of All The Biodegradable Waste Of All Municipalities From The Pleven Wwtp, Treated To Date. The Upgrade By Modernization / Improvement Of The Existing Composting Plant Includes A New Indoor Composting Technology For Food Waste Through Aerobic Composting Bioreactors And Improvement Of The Technological Process And Inclusion Of New Facilities For Open Composting Of The Garden And Wood Waste Of The Municipality Of Pleven And Of All Biodegradable Waste Of All Municipalities Of The Pleven Wwtp. The Implementation Of The Investment Proposal Is Expected To Make A Significant Contribution To The Achievement Of The Goals By 2030, Regarding The Reduction Of The Amounts Of Disposal Of Household Waste, Regulated Under Art. 31, Para. 1, Item 4 Of The Zuo, Namely: Systems For Separate Collection, Reuse, Recycling And Utilization Of Household Waste Must Ensure, By 2030 At The Latest, Preparation For Reuse And Recycling Of At Least 60 Percent Of The Total Weight Of This Waste. The Investment Proposal Is Also In Line With The Goals, Measures And Predictions Of The Nap 2021-2028 And, More Specifically, Increasing The Amount Of Recycled And Recovered Waste To The Action Plan Of The Program For Achieving The Goals For Preparation For Reuse And Recycling Of Household Waste Under The Nap 2021-2028.
