Riverbank Protection Works – Securing The Right Bank Of The Arve To The Right Of The Val-D’Arve Bridge. The Project Concerns The Perimeter Of The Right Bank Of The Arve At The Level Of The Val Darve Bridge, On The Territory Of The Canton Of Geneva As Well As On The Territory Of The City Of Geneva. It Is Part Of A Constrained Hydraulic Context Highlighted By The Progressive Erosion Of The Bed In This Area. The Planned Work Aims To Permanently Stabilize The Bank In Order To Secure And Maintain The Pedestrian Path, As Well As To Ensure The Stability Of The Abutments Of The Val Darve Bridge. Said Work Also Tends To Improve On The One Hand The Quantity And Quality Of The Fish Habitat, And On The Other Hand To Improve The Biological Quality And Promote The Development Of Native Flora In Order To Combat The Development Of Identified Invasive Species. Other One-Off Interventions Are Planned In The Arve, Notably To Reinforce The Protection Of The Foundation Of The Right Pier Of The Bridge With Riprap, To Reinforce The Upstream Niche Via The Installation Of Riprap (To A Lesser Extent) And To Rearrange The Riprap To The Right Of The Upstream Threshold. The Scope Of The Work Is In Direct Proximity To The Val Darve Bridge, The Cantonal Road Of The Same Name As Well As The Sports Center And More Precisely Tennis Club Drizia, Thereby Leading To Space, Accessibility And Delivery Constraints.
