Refuse Collection Services – Collection Of Residual Household Waste (Dmr), Organic Waste (Od) And Green Waste From The Municipality Of Braine-L’Alleud. Specifications Relating To The Collection Of Residual Household Waste (Dmr), Organic Waste (Od) And Green Waste From The Municipality Of Braine-L’Alleud. The Market Consists Of A Base Offer And A Required Option. The Bidder Must Submit An Offer For The Basic Offer And The Option. Basic Offer: 1. Door-To-Door Collection Of Residual Household Waste In Bags From The Municipality Of Braine-L’Alleud Every Two Weeks. 2. Loading Of Organic Waste At The Braine-L’Alleud Municipal Depot And Transport To The Virginal Energy Recovery Unit. 3. 16 Door-To-Door Collections Of Green Waste Per Year. The Contracting Authority Reserves The Right To Reduce Or Increase The Number Of Annual Green Waste Collections Or To Eliminate This Collection. Required Option: Additional Door-To-Door Collection Every 2 Weeks Of Residual Household Waste In Order To Arrive At A Weekly Collection Of Residual Household Waste. Activation Of The Option Upon Award: When The Contract Is Awarded, The Contracting Authority Will Activate The Option Provided In Order To Allow The Carrying Out Of A Weekly Collection Of Residual Household Waste Throughout The Territory Of The Municipality Of Braine-Lalleud. In Accordance With Article 56, §4 Of The Law Of June 17, 2016 Relating To Public Procurement, The Activation Of This Option Does Not Create Any Obligation, For The Contracting Authority, To Maintain It Throughout The Duration Of The Contract. Deactivation Of The Option During Execution: During Execution Of The Contract, The Contracting Authority Reserves The Right To Deactivate The Option Referred To In The Previous Paragraph, In Order To Modify The Frequency Of Collection Of Residual Household Waste And Set It At Collection Every Two Weeks. This Option Is Exercised In Accordance With The Aforementioned Legal Provisions, Which Provide That The Contracting Authority Is Never Required To Exercise Or Maintain An Option, Whether At The Conclusion Or During Execution Of The Contract. The Deactivation Decision Will Be Notified To The Holder No Later Than September 30 For Entry Into Force On January 1 Of The Following Calendar Year. Adaptation Of The Schedule And Collection Areas: In The Event Of Deactivation Of The Option, The Bidder Will Be Required To Collaborate In The Revision Of: • The Collection Schedule, • The Distribution Of Collection Areas, So As To Allow The Optimization Of Its Organization While Respecting Contractual Obligations. The Holder Will Not Be Able To Claim Any Compensation, Unless The Revision Results In A Substantial Modification Of The Market Within The Meaning Of The Applicable Regulations. The Contract Is Concluded For An Initial Period Of 36 Months. It Can Be Tacitly Renewed Twice, Each For A Period Of 12 Months.
