Tenders are invited for Rose-L Companion Satellite Instrument Concept Study - Expro plus. The goal of the ROSE L Companion Satellite Instrument Concept Study is to investigate a variety of instrument concepts suitable for Implementing a bistatic companion satellite to ROSE L. This includes examining different instrument options and configurations that could enable a more compact SAR instrument design, even if this leads to reduced performance across certain Level 1 parameters. Thestudy aims to build an understanding of the multi-dimensional trade space between various SAR instrument concepts, their parametervariations, and the resulting impact on Level 1 performance. This analysis will support the tailoring of the instrument design to meet a specific set of Level 1 requirements while also informing the scientific community about how sensitive these performance parameters are to overall instrument complexity. Ultimately, the study will used as an input to define an optimal set of mission requirements and identifying a suitable instrument concept for a bistatic ROSE L companion satellite.
