The Conference Building At The Jrc-Geel Location Was Built Almost 50 Years Ago And Has Now Reached The End Of Its Lifespan. A Thorough Renovation Strategy Has Been Implemented, Complying With Current Regulations, To Improve Energy Efficiency And Modernize Facilities. In Addition, An Extension Has Been Proposed To Provide Space For Various Staff And Social Activities, Transforming The Entire Building Into Multi-Functional Spaces For Conferences, Training, Events, Collaboration And Social Gatherings. This Is A Pilot Project Within The Framework Of The New European Bauhaus.
