Architectural, Construction, Engineering And Inspection Services – Bim-Management. The Construction Project On The Cologne-Merheim Health Campus Consists In Particular Of The Construction Of A New Building Complex, Which In Turn Consists Of Two Units, As Well As The Renovation, Conversion And Changes Of Use Of The Existing Houses 20, 20A And 20B. The Details Can Be Found In The Tender Documents. The Subject Of This Award Procedure Is The Assumption Of The Services Of A Bim Manager, I.E. The Overarching Coordination And Control Of The Building Information Modeling (Bim) Processes For The Project. The Bim Managers Scope Of Services Includes The Strategic Planning, Control And Coordination Of The Entire Bim Process In Coordination With The Client And Across All Project Phases (Stage 1: Bim Strategy, Project Preparation And Planning, Stage 2: Execution Preparation, Construction And Project Completion). This Includes The Development And Ongoing Updating Of The Bim Execution Plan (Bap), The Definition Of Bim Goals And Use Cases (E.G. Client Information Requirements (Aia)), Ensuring Compliance With Bim Standards And Quality Controls, Collaboration Coordination Between All Project Participants And Support With Model-Based Cost And Scheduling Planning. The Bim Manager Also Advises The Project Team On Bim Software And Processes, Conducts Training And Ensures Consistent And Transparent Data Transfer In The Common Data Environment (Cde). All Relevant Processes, Decisions And Results In Connection With Bim Management Are Comprehensively Documented. The Bim Manager Works Closely With The Client, The Planners, Specialist Planners, Executing Companies And Other Project Participants And Ensures Compliance With The Bim Requirements Throughout All Service Phases. The Aim Is To Ensure Efficiency, Quality And Transparency In The Construction Project Through The Targeted Use Of Digital Methods. When The Order Is Placed, The Services Of Service Level 1, I.E. The Services Of Bim Strategy, Project Preparation And Planning, Are Initially Commissioned. The Client Is Entitled To Commission The Further Services Of Service Level 2, I.E. Implementation Preparation, Construction And Project Completion, In Whole Or In Part, By Later, Separate, Written Order. The Background To This Gradual Transfer Is That Further Services May Be Transferred To Planners And/Or Construction Companies; In Addition, Currently Unforeseeable Delays In The Project Process Should Be Taken Into Account.
