The Märkischer Kreis Intends To Sell 67% Of The Shares In The Waste Disposal Company Of The Märkischer Kreis Mbh (Amk), Amk Objektgesellschaft Mbh & Co. Kg And Their General Partner, Amk Objektgesellschaft Verwaltungs Mbh, To A New Partner. Inextricably Linked To This Is The Conclusion Of A Disposal Contract, With Which Amk Will Be Commissioned To Dispose Of All Municipal Waste From The District Area From January 1St, 2028. The Disposal Service Includes The Collection, Thermal Treatment And Recycling Of Residual Waste (In Particular Municipal Waste And Bulky Waste) In The Iserlohn Waste-To-Energy Plant, The Disposal Of Green And Organic Waste As Well As The Collection And Disposal Of Waste Containing Pollutants From Households Using Mobile Pollutants. As The Majority Shareholder, The Contractor Takes Over The Operational Management Of The Waste-To-Energy Plant With Three Incineration Lines (Total Capacity Approx. 32 T/H), Ensures The Supply Of Heat And Electricity And Is Responsible For The Complete Acquisition Of Third-Party Quantities. In Addition, The Subject Of The Service Includes The Operation Of The Lüdenscheid-Lösenbach Construction Waste Landfill Via The Investment Companies Gfa And Ael As Well As The Decommissioning And Aftercare Of The Lüdenscheid-Kleinleifringhausen Landfill. The Contractor Bears Full Economic Responsibility For The Amk Network, Including The Financing Of Ongoing Operations And Necessary Investments, And Must Continue To Employ The Existing Workforce As Far As Possible.
