General Procurement Notice For Construction Of New Surface Water Intakes And New Water Treatment Plant And Rehabilitation Of Existing Intakes And Existing Water Treatment Plant

Tenders are invited for Construction of New Surface Water Intakes and New Water Treatment Plant and Rehabilitation of Existing Intakes and Existing Water Treatment Plant with O&M at Bandarban (Contract Package No. W07/BHDC) The Government of the Peoples Republic of Bangladesh (hereinafter called Borrower) has received financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of Chattogram Hill Tracts Inclusive and Resilient Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Project. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the Contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB. 2. The Department of Public Health Engineering (DPHE), hereinafter referred to as the Employer, invites online bids from eligible Bidders for the Construction of New Surface Water Intakes and New Water Treatment Plant and Rehabilitation of Existing Intakes and Existing Water Treatment Plant with O&M at Bandarban (Contract Package No. W-07/BHDC) (the Works) with e-Tender ID of 1300501. 3. Open Competitive Bidding - National Advertisement will be conducted in accordance with ADBs Single-Stage: One-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document. 4. Only eligible Bidders with the following key qualifications should participate in this bidding: Specific experience The minimum specific experience as a Prime Contractor or Subcontractor or Management Contractor in construction works of Surface Water or Ground Water Treatment Plant within the last 5 (Five) years (Years will be counted from May 30, 2021 to June 01, 2026). (i) Successfully completed in Bangladesh one or two contracts with cumulative value BDT 40,00,00,000 (BDT Forty Crore only) and each plant capacity not less than 300 m3/hr. (ii) At least 06 (Six) months experience in Operation and Maintenance (O&M) or Trial Run (O&M or trial run for this package like; manpower for operation of treatment plant, supply of chemical for treatment plant, electricity bill payment, running of the treatment plant with routine maintenance etc) of Surface Water or Ground Water Treatment Plant of the one contract of the above.
