Electricity – Supply Of Electricity. The Subject Of This Public Procurement Procedure Is The Supply Of Electricity For The Needs Of The Client. The Supplied Electricity Must Contain A Minimum Of 50% Of Electricity From Renewable Sources. In Order To Stimulate The Production Of Energy From Renewable Sources So That It Becomes More Competitive With Energy Obtained From Conventional Sources And To Encourage The Construction Of New Sources Of Renewable Energy And Achieve Sustainable Development, The Client Has Determined That The Electricity Must Contain The Above-Mentioned Minimum Percentage Of Electricity From Renewable Sources. Renewable Energy Sources Are Energy From Renewable Non-Fossil Sources, For Example Wind Energy, Solar Energy (Thermal And Photovoltaic) And Geothermal Energy, Energy From The Environment, Tidal Energy And Other Ocean Energy, Hydropower, Biomass, Gas Obtained From Waste, Gas Obtained From Waste Water Treatment Devices And Biogas (Article 3 Of The Electricity Market Act, Narodne Novine, 111/21, 83/23, 17/25). As A Confirmation Of Fulfillment Of The Conditions On The Origin Of Electricity, The Selected Bidder (Supplier) Is Obliged, After The Delivery Of Electricity, To Submit To The Customer A Valid Certificate From The Register Of Guarantees Of Origin Of Electricity, Issued By An Independent Body For Issuing Guarantees Of Origin Of Electricity, Which Confirms That At Least 50% Of The Delivered Electricity (Ie The Amount - The Percentage Of Electricity Specified In The Offer Of The Selected Bidder) Was Produced From Renewable Energy Sources. The Selected Bidder (Supplier) Must Submit The Certificate Of Origin Of Electricity To The Customer In Accordance With Article 19 Of The Methodology For Determining The Origin Of Electricity (Official Gazette 133/14 And 127/19). In Case Of Failure To Provide The Requested Certificate, Or In The Event That The Selected Bidder (Supplier) Does Not Prove With The Submitted Certificate That The Percentage Of Electricity Supplied, Specified In The Bid Of The Selected Bidder, Is Produced From Renewable Energy Sources, The Said Procedure Will Be Considered Breach Of Contractual Obligations, On The Basis Of Which The Client Reserves The Right To Activate The Guarantee For The Proper Fulfillment Of The Contract And To Undertake Further Activities In Accordance With Other Positive Regulations Governing The Subject Area. The Competent Authority For Issuing Guarantees Of The Origin Of Electricity In The Republic Of Croatia Is The Croatian Energy Market D.O.O. From Renewable Energy Sources (Declaration On Delivery Of Confirmation Of Guarantee Of Origin Of Electricity Is An Integral Part Of This Procurement Documentation).
