Public-Service Buses – 2026-10 Dvg: Delivery And Maintenance Of Low-Floor City Buses With Fuel Cell Drives. The Project Is Funded By The Federal Ministry Of Transport (Bmv) With A Total Of 14,851,200 Euros As Part Of The Directive For The Promotion Of Alternative Drives In Rail Transport / Buses In Passenger Transport. The Funding Guidelines Are Coordinated By Now Gmbh And Implemented By The Project Management Jülich (Ptj). The Dvg Intends To Convert The Entire Diesel Bus Fleet To Buses With Fuel Cell Drives By 2030. For This Purpose, A Further 29 Articulated Low-Floor City Buses And 26 Solo Low-Floor City Buses With Fuel Cell Drives Are To Be Procured As Well As, Optionally And Subject To Receipt Of Funding, The Delivery And Maintenance Of 11 Articulated Low-Floor City Buses With Fuel Cell Drives And 9 Solo Low-Floor City Buses With Fuel Cell Drives. The Schedule Calls For A Delivery Of 13 Solo Low-Floor City Line Buses By June 30, 2027, A Delivery Of 24 Articulated Low-Floor City Line Buses By November 30, 2027 And A Delivery Of 13 Solo And 5 Articulated Low-Floor City Line Buses By August 31, 2028. In Addition, Optionally And Subject To The Approval Of Appropriate Funding, A Delivery Of 9 Solo And 11 Articulated Low-Floor City Buses Will Be Included In The Scope Of Services By March 31, 2029. The Exercise Of This Option Is Expressly Subject To The Approval Of Appropriate Funding In Accordance With The Guidelines For The Promotion Of Alternative Drives For Buses In Passenger Transport Of April 27, 2026 Of The Federal Ministry Of Transport. The Funding Is Carried Out By The Funding Provider, Coordinated By Now Gmbh And Implemented By The Project Management Jülich (Ptj). The Contractor Has No Right To Request The Optional Services. The Decision To Exercise The Option Is Made By The Client At His Best Discretion. A Decision On The Funding Commitment Is Expected By December 31, 2026. The Surcharge For The Optional Service Is Made Exclusively Under The Suspensive Condition Of The Funding Commitment. If Funding Is Not Approved Or Is Not Approved To The Extent Intended, The Option Will Be Canceled In Whole Or In Part, Without The Contractor Being Entitled To Any Claims, In Particular For Damages Or Lost Profits. Dvg Also Intends To Conclude A (Full) Service Contract For An Expected Period Of 2 Years Plus Extension Options Until A Total Mileage Of Approximately 600,000 Km Per Vehicle Is Achieved.
