Shall be designed for 12kV operation. 2. Shall be suitable for 1-Core (single core) XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) cables 3. Shall be compatible with conductor sizes ranging from 500mm square to 630mm square. 4. Shall be an outdoor heat shrink termination (TERM OD) that provides environmental sealing and electrical insulation and made of a nti-tracking material. 5. Shall be designed for to work with XLPE insulation and lead sheath. 6. Shall include the Leakage Current Collectors (LCC). 7. Shall have a tail length of 800mm. 8. Shall include the mechanical connectors (lugs) for 500-630mm square conductor size. 9. The 12kV outdoor heat shrink terminations offered shall comply with the following standards: * SANS 10198-10: The selection, handling and installation of electric power cables of rating not exceeding 33kV. * NRS 053:2008 Edition 2 - Accessories for Medium Voltage power cables (3,8/6,6kV to 19/33kV) NS!
