Tenders are invited for Terms of Reference Organisational Development Review, Evaluation and Proposal of Actionaid Palestine New Structure within the Merger between Actionaid Palestine (Aap) & Alianza Por La Solidaridad (Aps) in Palestine ActionAid has been operating in Palestine since 2007. Over the past years, ActionAid has continued to build internal capacities, systems and processes whilst strengthening its external impact at local, national and international levels. The past decade has observed a deeper understanding of the context whereby ActionAid has been working side by side with Palestinian communities to strengthen community resilience and build the active agency of women and young people to understand their rights and undertake collective activism to address the protracted human rights violations resulting from the prolonged occupation of Palestine. Despite being new to the sector in Palestine, ActionAid has built strong grassroots and national level partnerships and a good reputation derived from our program priorities. Over the years, AAP has supported Palestinian communities and their organizations to enhance their capacity to plan and respond to development and humanitarian needs while harnessing their leadership to demand responsiveness and accountability of duty bearers. This trajectory has been shaped by continuous learning, reflection and adaptation, as well as by key institutional milestones, including the ActionAid Federations official recognition of ActionAid Palestine (AAP) as a Country Program in 2012 by the AAI General Assembly, and the development of its first Country Strategy Paper Peoples Action for Justice 20132017. In parallel, Alianza por la Solidaridad (ApS), a Spanish member of the ActionAid Federation since 2019, has maintained a long-standing presence in Palestine since 1993, building strong partnerships and programmatic experience across development and humanitarian sectors.
