Expression of Interest for COMESA Baseline Assessments on Trade Based Money Laundering (TBML) Country Multi-National Project Name COMESA Capacity Building Project Against Trade-Based Money Laundering (TBML) Sector Governance, Peace and Security Assignment Title COMESA Baseline Assessments on Trade Based Money Laundering (TBML) Project ID P-Z1-KF0-092 The COMESA Secretariat has applied for financing from the African Development Bank toward the cost of the COMESA Capacity Building Project Against Trade-Based Money Laundering (TBML) and intends to apply part of the agreed amount for this grant to payments under the contract for the consultant to undertake a baseline assessment on trade-based money laundering (TBML) in the COMESA Region. The services included under this project is to undertake diagnostics/baseline study in the COMESA region to determine the extent and drivers of TBML and come up with mitigating strategies, action plans, capacity needs assessments on TMBL and delivery of awareness modules as part of in-country capacity building. The duration of the assignment is Four (4) Months. COMESA Secretariat now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing these services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Consultants may constitute joint ventures to enhance their chances of qualification. A Consultant will be selected in accordance with Quality and Cost Based Selection method.
