Project Summarymandatory Site Meeting: There Will Be A Mandatory Site Viewing Meeting. Contractors Are To Reach Out To The Ministry Rep And Confirm Attendance For The Meeting. The Meeting Will Take Place On July.8Th @10Am. We Will Meet At The Bottom Of Prospect Fsr. Confirm Directions With The Ministry Representative If Required. You Will Be Ineligible To Bid If You Do Not Attend The Meeting. Secondary Rip Rap Location: It Will Be Expected That K1825 Will Be Completed First, And Work On K1781 Will Commence After That. Due To The Amphibian Window, No Work Will Be Completed In The Stream Channel After September.30Th. After September 30Th It Is Expected, The Contractor Can Continue Prepping Rip Rap. If The Initial Rip Rap Quarry Location Has Already Been Exhausted, The Secondary Rip Rap Location Is Located On Jack Swartz Fsr, At The Bottom Of Prospect Fsr And Will Require Blasting, Contract Must Also Provide Traffic Control At This Location As It Is Road Side Of The Fsr, Will Include The Removal Of No-Posts, And Reinstallation Of No-Posts. This Would Include Hauling The Developed Rock To The 24Km Junction On Prospect Fsr For Staging And Use In Year Two Of The Contract. It Is Expected This Site Will Only Be Used If The 26Km Quarry Was Exhausted Of All Rock, Or Could Not Develop The Rock Required To Spec As Per The Designs. K1825:The Project Will Also Include The Supply And Installation Of An Appropriately Sized Culvert Which Can Be Installed At The Crossing To Maintain The Current Flow At The Site During The Time Of The Construction. The Contractor Will Also Have To Provide A Plan For Mitigating Or Removal Of Structure In Extreme Event Conditions. Purchase And Installation Of One-2,438Mm (8’) X 15.24 (50’) Heavy Wall Steel Pipe (Hwsp), With A 12.7Mm (1/2”) Wall Thickness, With A 1:1 Bevelled Inlet, In A Modified Armored Ford In Accordance With The K1825 Design. Also Includes The Purchase And Installation Of One - 610Mm (24) Ø X 15.24M (50) Heavy Wall Steel Pipe (Hwsp) With A 9.525Mm (3/8”) Wall Thickness In A Modified Armored Ford In Accordance With K1825 Prospect 25.5Km Design. Work Also Includes The Removal Of Existing Pipe As Shown In The Design, Included In This Is The Disposal Of The Old Pipe To A Authorized Recycling Facility.
