Jul 2026 Intervention Sector(s): Training & Capacity Building Remuneration range: 3000 to 4000 (USD) Duration of Contract: 2 months Context & Background Berytech is a leading organization in the Entrepreneurial Eco-system in Lebanon, that aims to provide a conducive environment for the creation and development of startups, through incubation, business support, counseling, funding, networking, and company hosting, hence taking part in the economic revival of the country, participating in wealth and job creation, and retaining graduates and high-level skills in Lebanon. Through the Agrytech & Clyntech Accelerator Program, startups receive support to develop their Minimum Viable Product, test it with early adopters, and build their capacity to establish their business from marketing, financial, management, and operational levels. The Program aims to contribute to job creation and sustainable economic development while advancing the Lebanese entrepreneurial ecosystem. The Agrytech & Clyntech Accelerator Programs mission is to nurture and grow proof of concepts and prototypes that share three common characteristics: An innovation with a scientific or technological focus in the Agrifood and Clyntech sectors. The possibility to scale beyond the local market. The potential to create sustainable job opportunities locally. Scope of work The Agrytech & Clyntech Accelerator Program seeks a Commercial Development Consultant to support all 14 startups in the cohort in translating their commercialization strategy into a practical market entry approach. Building on the Go-to-Market Strategy Framework developed during the previous component, startups will develop their commercial offer, define their pricing approach, identify suitable market access channels, establish business development priorities, and define pathways to engage customers and partners. By the end of the assignment, startups are expected to develop a Market Entry Roadmap including their commercial offer, pricing approach, priority channels, partnership priorities, and business development activities. The assignment builds on the Go-to-Market Strategy Framework developed during the previous component and prepares startups for the Commercial Traction & Growth component. The assignment will be delivered through: 1 workshop (3 hours each) for all startups in the cohort. 1 lab delivered separately to two startup groups (3 hours each, maximum 7 startups). Up to 2 one-on-one clinics (45 minutes each) per startup. The Consultant is expected to coordinate with sector-specific experts and the program team to ensure that proposed market entry approaches reflect the realities of the Agryfood and Clyntech sectors and are aligned with startup-specific commercialization opportunities. Workshop: Commercialization & Market Entry The workshop will support startups in defining and structuring their commercial offer by addressing: Commercial offer design Product and service packaging Pricing approaches Pilot offer design Commercial buying processes Route-to-market strategies Distribution channels Market access pathways Partnership development Customer acquisition pathways Business development priorities Market Entry Lab: (Track A & Track B) The Market Entry Lab is a highly interactive working session designed to help startups apply the concepts introduced during the workshop in a focused, small-group setting. Each lab will host a maximum of 7 startups, grouped by startup maturity and commercialization readiness. Startups will work on practical application, peer discussion, and hands-on development of startup-specific outputs, with direct support from the Consultant throughout. The lab will provide startups with hands-on support to: Define and refine their commercial offer Refine pricing assumptions Develop pilot offer structures Select priority market access channels Identify and prioritize partnership opportunities Identify customer acquisition opportunities Develop and refine their Market Entry Roadmap One-on-One Clinics The Consultant will conduct one mandatory clinic per startup and may conduct a second clinic based on startup needs and progress, in coordination with the program team. Clinics are focused on practical implementation and market engagement rather than theoretical discussion. The Consultant will assess whether a second clinic is needed following the first session and communicate their recommendation to the program team. Deliverables Workshop outlines, facilitation plans, and presentation materials. Facilitation plans and working materials for both Market Entry Lab sessions (Track A and Track B). Delivery of 1 workshop (3 hours), 2 Market Entry Lab sessions (3 hours each), and up to 2 one-on-one clinics (45 minutes each) per startup. A Market Entry Roadmap, containing: Commercial Offer Pricing Approach Priority Channels Partnership Priorities Customer Acquisition Priorities Business Development Activities Summary reports following each workshop and lab covering participation, key observations, common challenges, and recommendations. A final cohort-level report summarizing key findings, market entry opportunities, business development priorities, and recommendations for subsequent commercialization activities. Qualifications Minimum 8 years of experience in business development, market access, commercialization, channel development, partnerships, or related fields. Demonstrated experience supporting startups, SMEs, incubators, accelerators, or innovation programs. Proven experience in market entry planning, partnership development, route-to-market strategy, and commercialization. Strong facilitation and coaching experience with entrepreneurial audiences. Experience working with innovation-driven ventures in the Agryfood and/or Clyntech sectors is a strong advantage. Ability to adapt methodologies to startups at different stages of commercial maturity. Excellent communication and facilitation skills. Fluency in English.
