Transport Services (Excl. Waste Transport) – Self-Service Bicycle Network For The Canton Of Geneva In Partnership With The Municipalities. The State Of Geneva (Hereinafter: The Contracting Authority) Decided A Few Years Ago To Set Up A Network Of Self-Service Bicycles (Hereinafter: Vls) On The Territory Of The Canton And The Republic And Canton Of Geneva, In Partnership With The Interested Municipalities. This Network Has Existed Since Spring 2020. Under The Legislative Requirements For The Award Of Public Contracts, The Adjudicator Must Put The Market Back Into Competition For The Coming Years. In This Context, And Taking Into Account The Technological Developments Experienced By This Type Of Network, But Also The Experience Acquired In Recent Years In This Area, It Has Become Essential That This Network Be Renewed Under The Conditions And Requirements Set Out In The Attached Specifications. The New Operation Of The Vls Network Is Planned To Begin On June 1, 2027, Subject To All Reservations. Unlike The Previous Call For Tenders, The Installation Of Fixed Stations For Bicycle Parking Is No Longer Required. In Addition, A Quota Of 1,500 25 Km/H Electric Bicycles, The Characteristics Of Which Are Described In Appendix 4 Of The Specifications, Will Be Made Available To The Successful Bidder. As Such, The State Of Geneva Is Organizing A Call For Tenders For The Provision Of Services In An Open Procedure At The International Level, For The Award Of The Concession Contract For The Operation Of A Network Of Self-Service Bicycle Stations For A Period Of 2 Years With Renewal From Year To Year, But For A Total Of 5 Years Maximum, This Subject To The Signing Of The Contract And No Appeal Against The Decision To Award This Contract.
