The Municipality Of Muttenz Is Planning To Renovate And Partially Convert An Existing Multi-Story Building Within The “Mittenza” Complex In The Historic Town Center. The Complex Includes Several Structures; The Subject Of This Project Is Exclusively The Former Hotel And Congress Building. The Building, Built Around 1975, Is Part Of An Ensemble Of Regional Importance And Is A Cantonal Listed Building. After A Period Of Partial Vacancy, The Building Will Be Repaired And Put To New Use. The Large Hall Remains Available For Cultural And Social Events. In Addition, There Will Be Rooms For Administration, The General Music School And Other Club And Community Uses. The Subject Of This Tender Is The Wooden Window Work For The Renovation And Conversion Of The Former Hotel And Congress Building. The Contract Includes The Repair Of Existing Wooden Windows, The Replacement Of Glazing, The Production And Installation Of New Window Sashes As Well As The Partial Replacement Of Existing Wooden Window Systems Including Fittings, Glazing, Seals And All Necessary Additional Services. The Order Also Includes Soundproof Windows, Adaptation Work To Existing Structures, Frame Widening, Sealing Work And Coordination With The Neighboring Trades In Accordance With The Tender Documents And List Of Services. The Building Is Located In An Inner-City Environment. During The Construction Period, Special Consideration Must Be Given To Local Conditions, Construction Site Logistics As Well As Residents And Adjacent Public Uses.
