Work Detail
Mechanical Engineering Services – Specialist Planning For Technical Equipment M. The Lmu Munich Intends To Renovate The Buildings Façade And Roof To Make It More Energy Efficient And To Replace The Oil Heating System With A Water-To-Water Heat Pump. The Two-Story, Listed Art Nouveau Villa (1,711 Sqm Gfa) With 50 Spacious Rooms And A Central Entrance Hall Was Built In 1908/09 By The Architects Schaffner And Albert On A Park Site. The Villa Was Technically State-Of-The-Art At The Time And Was, Above All, Artistically Valuable. Recognizable Interventions Took Place In The 1950S And In The 1990S. From This Point On, The Building Was Used By The Ludwig Maximilian University For The Center For Applied Policy Research (Cap). The Construction Project Is Funded With Erdf Funds (European Regional Development Fund, Ibw Bavaria Program 2021-2027, Measure Type 2.1 Energy Efficiency In State Infrastructure). These Measures Reduce The Primary Energy Requirement By Around 50%. This Is The Prerequisite For Enabling The Building To Be Supplied With Energy Using A Monovalent Water-Water Heat Pump, While Retaining The Radiators, Some Of Which Are Integrated Into The Historic Wall Cladding. The Required Diagonally Offset Wells Are Possible On The Property And The Geological Conditions Are Promising Despite The Proximity To The High Bank Of The Isar. The Heat Pump Finds Space In The Boiler Room. Alternative Energies Such As District Heating Are Not Available In This Area Or Are Not Planned In The Near Future. An Air Heat Pump Is Not Possible If The Existing Radiators Are Retained, And This Would Not Be Acceptable Due To Their Size And Noise. The Energy Supply Is Currently Via Oil Heating And Is To Be Replaced By A Water-Water Heat Pump. The Aim Is To Be Completely Independent Of Fossil Fuels. The Efficient Use Of A Heat Pump Requires Low Flow Temperatures, Which Reduce The Heating Output Of The Existing Radiators. To Enable The Existing Radiators To Be Retained, It Is Therefore Necessary To Take Measures On The Thermal Envelope In Order To Reduce The Building Heating Load. The Upper Cost Limit For The Kg 300-500 Is 1,730,000 Euros Gross (Din 276:2018-12). Since Feasibility Studies And A Design Concept For The Renovation Are Already Available, The Property Planning For Buildings From Lph2 Onwards Will Be Put Out To Tender. This Includes The Training, Revision Of The Cost Calculation And The Schedule, As Well As The Integration Of The Specialist Planning.
