Tenders are invited for Leading to the Development of Adam Solar Independent Power Project (IPP) and Sinaw Solar Independent Power Project (IPP), Sultanate of Oman. Tender Purchase Price 350 OMR Statement of Qualification Submission Deadline: 27 July 2026 Before 12.00 PM Gulf Standard Time) Nama Power and Water Procurement Company (PWP) is responsible for procuring new capacity for power and water in the Sultanate of Oman in accordance with the requirements of the law for the regulation and privatization of the electricity and related water sector promulgated by Royal Decree 78/2004 as amended and the PWP license. In line with PWPs ongoing commitment to ensuring a reliable and sustainable energy future and maintaining grid security in the Sultanate of Oman through a balanced energy mix, and in support of Oman Vision 2040 and the Sultanate of Omans energy transition and carbon reduction objectives, PWP is planning to develop two (2) solar photovoltaic power plants in partnership with the private sector, as follows: Adam Solar IPP: 1,000 MW Solar PV with Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Sinaw Solar IPP: 500 MW Solar PV plant PWP is announcing the launch of the qualification process for interested developers through the issuance of the Request for Qualification (RFQ) document.
