Tenders are invited for Construction and Completion of the Proposed Building for the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, University of Moratuwa (Stage I) Completion of Balance Work Non-Refundable Fee of Rs. 60,000/= (Rupees Sixty Thousand only). Bid Security of Rs. 6,000.000.00 (Rupees Six Million only). Described below and the Estimated Cost excluding Taxes is Approximately Rs. 390.0 Million. Qualification Requirements to Qualify for Contract Award Include; A. Average Annual Volume of Construction Work Performed in Any Five Years within the Last Ten Years shall be at Least Rs. 312 Million. B. Experience in the Construction of Buildings of 05 Floors or Higher of Similar Nature and Complexity, during the Last 10 Years. The Contract Value excluding Taxes of at Least One Project shall be Minimum of Rs. 350 Million. Works Cited should be at Least 70% Completed on Physical Size of the Subject Contract and 50% of the Estimated Cost of the Subject Contract. C. The Minimum Amount of Liquid Assets and/or Credit Facilities (after Setting Apart for Other Contractual Commitments) and Exclusive of Any Advance Payment Which may be Made under this Contract, shall be More than Rs. 65 Million.
