Background As part of EQIE, Education in Emergencies (EiE) project, Right To Play aims to strengthen childrens psychosocial wellbeing, social-emotional development, and learning recovery through accessible and engaging resources for caregivers, facilitators, and educators. To support these objectives, Right To Play seeks the services of a qualified multimedia development firm to design and produce a series of animated videos that promote Social and Emotional Learning (SEL), wellbeing, and preventive child protection through play-based approaches. The videos will be aligned with the RTP SEL Framework and designed for use by caregivers, facilitators, teachers, and organizations working with children in humanitarian and crisis-affected settings. The video series will provide practical guidance on how play can be used to strengthen childrens social-emotional skills, wellbeing, resilience, positive relationships, and safety, while equipping caregivers and facilitators with simple activities and key messages that can be applied in everyday interactions with children. 2. Purpose of the Assignment The purpose of this assignment is to design, develop, and produce fifteen (15) animated videos that promote Social and Emotional Learning (SEL), psychosocial wellbeing, and preventive child protection through play-based approaches. The videos will target caregivers and facilitators and provide practical guidance on supporting childrens development, wellbeing, participation, and safety through play and positive adult-child interactions. Each video should: Address a specific SEL competency aligned with the RTP SEL Framework. Demonstrate a practical play-based activity. Include key messages for caregivers and facilitators. Promote positive parenting and supportive adult-child relationships. Integrate preventive child protection and wellbeing messages. Provide practical suggestions for home and community application. 3. Scope of Work The selected firm will be responsible for the following: A. Content Development Review project objectives and RTP SEL Framework. Develop the overall concept and creative approach for the video series. Develop video scripts and storyboards for fifteen (15) animated videos. Ensure content reflects: Social and Emotional Learning (SEL). Psychosocial Support (PSS) principles. Play-Based Learning methodologies. Positive parenting approaches. Child-centered and trauma-informed approaches. Inclusion and accessibility principles. Preventive child protection and wellbeing messages. B. Multimedia Production Produce fifteen (15) high-quality animated videos. Conduct all animation, illustration, voice-over recording, editing, sound design, subtitling, and post-production activities. Ensure videos are engaging, practical, culturally appropriate, and accessible. Integrate caregiver and facilitator guidance within each video. Develop visual and audio content suitable for dissemination through digital platforms, trainings, community outreach, and learning spaces. C. Review and Finalization Participate in review meetings with the project team. Revise scripts, storyboards, and video drafts based on feedback. Ensure all products comply with agreed branding and quality standards. Deliver final approved products and editable source files. 4. Deliverables Creative Concept and Workplan Submission of proposed concept, visual style, methodology, production plan, and indicative video themes. July Within 2 weeks of contract signing Scripts and Storyboards (one of these options or a mix of both will be selected) Development and submission of scripts and storyboards for fifteen (15) animated videos. Or Development and submission of scripts and storyboards for fifteen (15) videos that are a mix of animation and real time facilitation video (one of this option or a mi of both will be selected) August Draft Video Series Submission of draft versions of the fifteen (15) videos for technical review and feedback. August-September Final Video Series Submission of fifteen (15) finalized animated videos incorporating feedback from the project team. September Source Files Submission of editable source files and final video package. September 5.
